Dear EACLIPT members, Dear Colleagues,
it’s our great pleasure to announce that the latest issue of Clinical Psychology in Europe has just been published. You can download the full issue as PDF or read it online at https://doi.org/10.32872/cpe.v5i4
What’s in it?
In our end-of-the-year editorial, we look back to 2023 with its challenges and promising developments in clinical psychology.
A very important editorial by Seithikurippu R. Pandi-Perumal and 38 colleagues from all over the word looks at the effects of war on communities and mental health, emphasizing the need for international efforts to promote peace, offer humanitarian aid, and address the mental health challenges.
Kate MacKrill and colleagues trace the nature, growth and spread of health scares, concluding that they can develop quickly and that more effective measures are needed to reduce their negative public health effects.
Mark H. Wheeler and colleagues look at how and why the choice of success criteria can impact therapy service delivery.
Maarit Pelzer and colleagues present a study protocol for a study that will enhance the current knowledge of the efficacy of mirror exposure to target body dissatisfaction in adolescent patients diagnosed with anorexia nervosa.
In a discussion paper, Rief et al. describe important proposals for rethinking the classification of mental and behavioral disorders and discuss overlaps and differences.
Please share the news in your (social) networks.
We are grateful for all the support from authors, reviewers, editors, the EACLIPT and our publisher during the last years (Yes, we already have 5 volumes of CPE complete!)
We look forward to new submissions in 2024 and of course to meet many of you at the EACLIPT conference in Amsterdam! We wish you all a wonderful holiday season and may your New Year be filled with happiness, health, and prosperity!
